Our Business Priorities

Imperial’s priorities follow a defined order.  As we follow the order below, the each item facilitates success in all the items that follow.

First, we work to develop a safer and healthier workplace, so that all of our associates can remain on the job and be productively engaged in achieving success for the company and themselves.

   Our next priority is to implement exceptional practices in hiring, training, retaining, and involving our associates.  We strive for high attendance.  We promote effective work flow and organization through 5S.  People are the foundation of our company and everything we do.

We promote the build-in-station mentality for quality.  We use disciplined, data-driven processes for problem-solving including 5-Why and 6 Sigma.  We strive for standardized work.  We use error proofing as a means of quality control.

4. RESPONSIVENESS

We stay attuned to our customers’ requirements and our own internal capacity to meet them.  We improve our responsiveness to customers through continual improvement in throughput, inventory reduction and the implementation of total productive maintenance. Our ultimate goal is to be on-time every time.

5. COST

We seek to eliminate waste in all elements of the organization, through implementation of lean technologies.  Our goal is to become the highest quality, lowest cost producer in the market place.
